On the evening of May 18, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai City jointly held the Ceremony to Announce the National Assembly’s Resolution on the Establishment of Dong Nai City.

Comrade Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, attended the ceremony.

Also attending the ceremony were former Politburo members; former State President Nguyễn Minh Triết; former State President Trương Tấn Sang; former Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng; and former Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat Lê Hồng Anh.

The ceremony was also attended by incumbent and former Politburo members, incumbent and former members of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, incumbent and former members of the Party Central Committee, as well as current and former leaders of the Party, the State, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Representatives of central agencies, ministries, sectors, and provinces and cities nationwide; diplomatic missions based in Ho Chi Minh City; and representatives of provincial leaders from the Kingdom of Cambodia also attended the event.

Representing Dong Nai City, Comrade Vũ Hồng Văn, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Head of the Dong Nai City Delegation to the 16th National Assembly, along with current and former city leaders from different periods; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces; Heroes of Labor during the Renewal Period; members of the 16th National Assembly from the Dong Nai City Delegation; leaders of departments, agencies, and sectors; religious dignitaries; and prestigious figures among ethnic minority communities.
