GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR THE DT.769 ROAD UPGRADE AND EXPANSION PROJECT
On the morning of July 10, 2026; the DT.769 Provincial Road Upgrade and Expansion Project officially broke ground in Dau Giay Ward.
This transportation project is great significance, contributing to the improvement of regional transport infrastructure, enhancing traffic capacity, and creating new momentum for the socio-economic development of the locality and surrounding areas, particularly as infrastructure connecting to Long Thanh International Airport continues to receive substantial investment.
The upgraded and expanded DT.769 Provincial Road will open up new development opportunities, facilitate travel and business activities for residents and enterprises, and further strengthen Dau Giay Ward’s attractiveness as an investment destination in the years ahead.

The DT.769 Provincial Road will be upgraded and expanded over a total length of approximately 29.754 km. The project begins at its intersection with National Highway 1A at Dau Giay Intersection in Dau Giay Ward (formerly Dau Giay Town, Thong Nhat District) and ends at its intersection with National Highway 51 at Loc An Intersection in Loc An Commune, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province.
The project includes upgrading the existing roadway and constructing new sections to accommodate four typical cross-sections corresponding to four segments, as follows:
- Section 1: From National Highway 1A to the end of Dau Giay Ward (approximately Km0+000 to Km3+240), the road will be expanded to six traffic lanes and two mixed-traffic lanes, with a 41m wide roadbed. The railway overpass approach section (approximately Km0+967.48 to Km1+600) will comprise six traffic lanes, two mixed-traffic lanes, and two frontage roads, with a 43.5m wide roadbed.
- Section 2: From the end of Dau Giay Ward to Ring Road 4 (approximately Km3+240 to Km14+517), the road will feature six motor vehicle lanes with a 30.5m wide roadbed. The subsection from Km10+200 to Km13+200 will have a 39.5m wide roadbed.
- Section 3: From Ring Road 4 to D1 Road (approximately Km14+517 to Km23+870), the road will consist of six motor vehicle lanes and two mixed-traffic lanes, with a 38.5m wide roadbed.
- Section 4: From D1 Road to National Highway 51 (approximately Km23+870 to Km29+754), the road will comprise six motor vehicle lanes and two mixed-traffic lanes, with a 45.0m wide roadbed.
The project also includes the construction of five bridges, including one railway overpass.
