Dau Giay Industrial Park Wastewater Treatment Plant
Wastewater treatment plant
Principles of wastewater drainage:
- Domestic wastewater is pre-treated to meet column B standards according to the National Technical Regulation on Industrial Wastewater before being discharged into the industrial park’s common wastewater drainage system leading to the industrial park’s centralized wastewater treatment plant.
Wastewater from enterprises within the industrial park must be treated locally at the enterprise level to meet column B standards according to the National Technical Regulation on Industrial Wastewater before being discharged into the industrial park’s drainage network.
Wastewater, after treatment, must meet column A of the National Technical Standard on Industrial Wastewater before being discharged into the water source. Suoi Bi stream is capable of receiving wastewater from the industrial park, and this treated water will not affect the water quality and environment of the river and surrounding areas.
- Wastewater generated by secondary units within the industrial park, after preliminary treatment at the enterprises, is connected and collected to the Dau Giay Industrial Park’s centralized wastewater treatment plant for further treatment to ensure compliance with regulations before being discharged into the environment.
The industrial park’s centralized wastewater treatment plant is designed and built with a total capacity of 8,000 m3/day, ensuring the collection and treatment of all wastewater generated by investors in the industrial park.
This includes 16,290 m of D300 – D600 drainage pipes serving the Dau Giay Industrial Park exclusively, comprising 14,288 m of gravity-flow pipes and 1,566 m of pressure pipes, broken down as follows:
- Gravity drainage system:
D 300: 11.293 m
D 400: 1.778 m
D 600: 1.217 m
- Pressure culvert: HDPE D200: 552 mHDPE D250: 370 mHDPE D300: 644 m
Gravity culverts use reinforced concrete pipes, while pressure culverts use high-pressure HDPE pipes.
3. Drainage works:
Drainage pumping station:
- Pumping Station No. 1 in the Southeast of Zone B has a capacity of Q = 2,500 m3/day, the depth of buried pipes at the pumping station is 1.50 m; Hb = 20 m.
- Pumping Station No. 2 in the South of Zone B has a capacity of Q = 5,000 m3/day, the depth of buried pipes at the pumping station is 1.50 m; Hb = 15 m.
- Pumping Station No. 3 in the South of Zone A has a capacity of Q = 2,000 m3/day, the depth of buried pipes at the station is 1.50 m; Hb = 10 m.
Centralized wastewater treatment plant:
- The wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 8,000 m3/day. The plant’s construction area is 2.8 hectares.
- Location of the treatment plant: South of the industrial park, adjacent to the industrial park’s ring road.
